Are you a cat lover? Have you ever wondered what it was like to see through your cat’s eyes? This game called Catlateral Damage allows you to do just that. It’s a first person cat simulator that just came out in May and can be played on Steam. You get to be a cat and run around doing what cats do best, knocking stuff off of shelves and playing with toys.
The game was made by cat lover Chris Chung and although It’s pretty basic and not a game I’m libel to play day after day for hours, it’s a fun way to see what it’s like to be a cat. Can you beat the time? It’s hard! I found the controls (the keyboard) to be difficult but that is probably something that gets better with time.
Catlateral Damage is available on PC/Mac/Linux as well as team and OUYA for $9.99 USD. In the game you get to go through different rooms and make a big mess. There are cat toys to play with and bonuses such as much to chase and over 230 photos of real-life cats to find and collect.
Once you get the hang of jumping you’ll have tons of fun knocking every book off the shelf and every dish off the counter. Now you’ll understand why you cat finds it so fun to do these things. You still won’t be okay with your cat doing it but you just might understand him better. Then again, you might not.
Is this your type of game?
