I received a copy of the Meazy N More game to test out for this blog from Zano Games. All opinions are mine.
Meazy n More is The Mother of Dice Games
How many games do you know that come with 144 dice? Meazy N More is a dice game where every player needs 36 dice! Don’t worry you don’t have to hold them all in your hand at the same time. It come with foam cups to keep and roll the dice in. Dice games are often noisy but thanks the genius design of foam cups, the noise is cut down a bit. You just hear the dice being rolled onto the table, and not shaken in the cups. Play on a table cloth for an even quieter game. Add that to the clever titles on the cups and you can tell this is a fun game. The game itself comes in a zippered bag with a carry strap which is perfect for bringing with you to a party or games night.
Different Ways to Play
There are four games you can play with the Meazy N More set: Easy Meazy, Not So Easy Meazy, Meazy Street and Splitting Headache. They vary in difficulty level with the first two being good for ages 5+ and the other two being good for ages 8+. It’s not a kid’s game though, it can be quite challenging for adults and we found that kids in the younger range might need quite a bit of help.
Confusing at First
The game was confusing to understand at first just because of the different parts and steps. However once you figure out the game and have played a few times, it’s not complicated anymore. So before you play for the first time, make sure to schedule in some time to read and understand the instructions. Play a practice round as well. If you are still having trouble, this video from the Meazy website may come in handy.
Strategy
Rolling the dice and passing the cups is the easy part. The part that confused some of the players was the strategy. You don’t often think of dice games as strategy games but it is. You have to decide what the best colour and number combinations are from what you have rolled. In some of the games, you have to arrange the dice in a certain order and you will get there faster if you pick the right dice to put in the right spot. It’s definitely a brain workout.
Where to Buy
If you live in the US, you can get Meazy N More (affiliate link) from Amazon.com. Unfortunately it’s only available on Amazon right now.
